SOFA LAB

The Sofa Sessions then evolved into weekly SOFA LAB days at Pontio where members of the public, students and artists were invited to collaborate and respond creatively to the poems, voice recordings and stories gathered from the sofa. Soundscapes, music tracks, films and songs were created giving people creative voice and output. All the participants at the Sofa Lab collaborated seamlessly to create and produce work in English, Cymraeg, and bilingually. It was great to see first language English artists, being encouraged and given confidence to sing and rap in Cymraeg with help from first language Cymraeg students.
